Catalyst Education is becoming For Purpose Education
Behind every confident new educator and every skilled carer there’s training that helped them get there and a belief that the work matters. This is what we stand for and that won’t ever change. What is changing however, is our name.
Since 1st of July, we’ve been quietly transitioning from Catalyst Education to For Purpose Education. This is a meaningful step forward for us, our Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), and the learners and employers we support across Australia.
A name that reflects who we are (and what we do)
The change brings us into closer alignment with the wider For Purpose family – the portfolio of organisations brought together by For Purpose Investment Partners to create positive social impact across Australia.
It says plainly what has always driven us: supporting the people and organisations who help communities thrive.
Our name and our look are changing, but our commitment to quality training is exactly as it was.
The same trusted training and the RTOs you know
Through our RTOs, Selmar Institute of Education, Practical Outcomes and ARC Training, we’ll continue to deliver trusted, accessible and industry-relevant education for the care workforces Australia needs now and well into the future.
That means supporting learners, employers and communities across early childhood education and care, aged care, disability support, health and community services, and business training.
It matters more than ever. Australia is facing a critical shortfall of care workers and as For Purpose Education we have a real part to play in meeting that challenge.
We believe our purpose is building and skilling the carers, educators and support professionals of tomorrow and our new brand reflects not just who we are, but where we’re heading.
We’re a trusted training partner and an organisation that’s innovative, responsive and committed to keeping training fit-for-purpose. We listen to learners, employers and communities and we keep evolving so our training makes a difference where it’s needed most.
In the future this looks like ensuring our training is sector-specific and tailored to meet the demands of the modern workplace. It means offering new ways of supporting both our learners and our partners and advocating for education and training that translates into real outcomes for the people at the end.
Importantly, nothing changes for you
For learners currently enrolled with us, for our RTOs, and for the employers and industry partners we work alongside, nothing changes.
No new logins, no changes to trainers and support, no impact on partnerships or funding arrangements. That’s our commitment to those working alongside us. The values, the support, the quality and the commitment you know all stay exactly as they are.
This is a new look and a new name, but the same purpose-led organisation.
